SYNOPSIS

The Valkyries are figures from Norse mythology—female warriors associated with Odin who choose those worthy of entering Valhalla.

ACT 1 — WAR & ESCAPE

Eva Rivers, a young Marine, is deployed to Iraq with hopes of saving lives.

During a mission, her convoy is ambushed and Eva is captured. For two weeks, she is brutally tortured with electric shocks, beatings, sleep deprivation, isolation, and psychological warfare by Kelly, a rogue American working with enemy forces.

Despite the torture, Eva refuses to reveal military intelligence.

During a violent sandstorm, Eva and another prisoner, Yusuf, escape. They are eventually located and evacuated aboard a military helicopter. During the flight, however, the helicopter is struck and crash-lands.

Eva survives again, but the crash leaves her deeply traumatized, particularly by flying.

Back home, doctors diagnose her with PTSD and aviophobia. Eva refuses to board another airplane.

Instead, she begins traveling by train and ship across America, Europe, Asia, and beyond. The movement of trains becomes strangely therapeutic. She spends the journeys sketching the faces of people she lost during the war.

She is alive—but barely.

ACT 2 — RETURN & DESCENT

Eva is no longer a soldier, but she doesn’t feel like a civilian either.

She spirals into addiction. Opioids originally prescribed for her injuries become a way of silencing the war inside her head. Group therapy offers little relief. Flashbacks come at night.

Then Eva discovers an illegal underground female fight club run by Booker, where women fight for serious money.

No mercy.

In her first fight, Eva is rough and unprepared—but she wins.

Something unexpected happens.

The violence quiets her mind.

For those few minutes inside the ring, the memories disappear.

Eva becomes VALKYRIE.

With each victory, she begins donating part of her winnings to veteran PTSD programs and charities supporting children affected by war.

But the real prize for Eva is silence.

Inside the ring, time slows. Pain becomes strangely beautiful. The ghosts disappear.

ACT 3 — ASCENT & COLLISION

Valkyrie rises through the underground fighting world.

Wealthy spectators begin paying $10,000 and more to attend her fights. She becomes a legend.

Yet Eva maintains one absolute rule:

She never flies.

She travels to every fight by train or ship.

Her final opponent is QUEEN, a ruthless former Special Forces fighter with a reputation for destroying opponents.

Their fight becomes almost mythological.

Ribs crack. Blood hangs suspended in the air. Sweat explodes from skin.

But the fight is no longer simply about winning. It is about whether Eva can stop herself from becoming the weapon the war created.

Eva eventually defeats Queen.

She has the opportunity to continue—but stops.

Eva refuses to destroy her opponent.

For the first time, walking away becomes the victory.

ACT 4 — RESOLUTION & REFLECTION

Eva redirects her winnings toward veteran recovery centers, art programs, and trauma-healing initiatives.

She begins telling her story and mentoring other veterans.

Eventually, Eva creates the PTSD Rail Tour—a traveling art and storytelling program aboard trains where veterans can draw, photograph, film, write, and communicate without being forced to explain their trauma.

The trains carry them across countries and cultures.

The journey becomes part of the recovery.

FINAL IMAGE

Eva sits beside a train window as the landscape rushes past.

Lena’s hand finds hers.

Eva watches the world outside.

EVA (V.O.)

The war isn’t over. But I’m not fighting it alone anymore.

FADE OUT.

THE END

SOCIAL IMPACT COMPONENT

A portion of the film’s profits can be dedicated to supporting PTSD recovery programs, veteran rehabilitation, trauma-focused art programs, and related charitable initiatives.

This social-impact component can become part of the film’s broader identity: transforming a story about violence and trauma into a project that contributes directly to recovery, creative expression, and support for people affected by war.

This version now has a clean structure: Production Concept → one Synopsis → one Screenplay → International Co-Production concept → Social Impact component.
